Card Tricks and co.

I just began reading a fiel report in a German PickUp Forum where the autor describes how he came to the party and impressed some girls by showing them some card tricks.

I really wonder why a lot of people who start changing their life with Pickup, tend to learn magic tricks.

Do they think that this will get them laid more often? Do they think (maybe not even conscious) that their personality is too weak to impress girls, so they need something extraordinary to be more interesting?

I have no clue.

Of course, it's cool if someone has nice skills with cards, and he can share it with girls if he wants to.

But seriously, who learns playing card tricks for impressing girls and then takes his cards to a club?

If I ever meet one of these guys, I might laugh my ass off.
